Paul has over 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, predominantly on the speciality and biosimilar side of the business. On biosimilars Paul was the first to fully commercialise 3 biosimilars in a regulated market, collaboratively setting up the Biosimilar division of BGMA and acting as Vice Chair.  

Paul joined Accord in 2018, where he led the strategy of Accord’s Speciality Brands division, playing a significant role in helping Accord to be one of the biggest suppliers of oncology medicines in Europe. Paul’s pharma experience includes UK, Europe and Global management roles in commercial, business development and general management positions.

Since July 2021, Paul has led Accord’s operations in the EMENA territory, with responsibility for implementing and delivering the company’s mission to increase access to high quality medicines within the region with an exceptional pipeline of generic, biosimilar and novel medicines and is responsible for a turnover of $1bn with over 2000 employees.

Àlex has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Àlex started his career in International Trade within the purchasing division of a major active ingredient company and later became one of Accord Healthcare’s very first and pivotal hires. Àlex has been instrumental in the growth of the company, from its initial set up as a legal entity through its evolution to becoming a major healthcare player and one of fastest growing pharmaceuticals companies in Europe. Currently, Àlex leads Accord’s Global Portfolio and Business Development function which includes several the company’s cornerstone diversification initiatives, including Animal Health.

With over 20 plus years in healthcare, with significant experience in marketing, Bob’s healthcare experience includes working for one of the world’s largest medical devices companies, Boston Scientific where he led the International marketing and communications strategy for four divisions.  Before transitioning to a start-up human health and diagnostics company leading the global marketing, business information and customer services functions.

In 2011, Bob was approached to move into Animal Health, joining Norbrook Laboratories, one of Europe’s leading generic manufactures, with responsibility for and working across Global Marketing, General Management, Global Alliances and finally, Sales Operations.  Bob joined Accord Healthcare in 2022 where is responsible for leading Accord’s diversification strategy in Animal Health across EMENA. 

With over 25 years of experience working with regulated products with nearly 18 of those focussing solely on the development, registration, manufacture and in-market support of veterinary medicines across the EU, North America and Rest of the World. Lloyd has worked across R&D, Pharmacovigilance, Quality Operations and Regulatory Affairs, spending spent 17 years at ECO Animal Health with responsibilities for heading up the Quality and Regulatory functions globally.  

Jess Coggins has worked within the veterinary medicines industry for over 10 years across sales, practice & buying group procurement roles for companion animals, equine and livestock.  Jess has significant commercial experience across nutraceuticals generics companies and novel and highly technical vaccines as well as procurement of veterinary medicines and consumable products for a large mixed-species veterinary practice.

Gemma Young has over 17 years’ of experience in the Animal health industry. She has worked in companion animal and large animal pharmaceuticals, a National E-commerce role supporting animal health online and pet store retailers and more recently in a startup Biotech animal health company working on global market initiatives.
